School at Northern (Arctic) Federal University
On 20-23 December 2018, Svetlana Suchkova ran a series of workshops within Academic Literacy Week at the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (NArFU). Her workshops and presentations invited participants to discuss such questions as the structure of a research article in English, language features of an academic text, assessment criteria and expectations of editors and reviewers. Svetlana Suchkova held a series of consultations with researchers and the workshop organizers.
As the participants’ feedback showed the school was very useful and productive. The Academic Writing Center at HSE received an invitation to joint projects. We hope that further cooperation will be mutually beneficial.
