Navigating the publishing landscape: Strategies for success in a global context

How can a researcher thrive in today's challenging landscape and sustain a consistent level of publication activity? Obviously, a high-quality study is necessary, but not sufficient. It takes expert knowledge of the global rules to play the big publishing game.

Last week we invited the founding director of HSE Scientometrics Center Ivan Sterligov to  shed light on these pivotal issues. Ivan  described the evaluation criteria for research across the USA, Europe, Asia, and Russia, emphasizing the significance of a well-defined publication strategy and sharing insights on crafting this strategy. Additionally, Ivan offered a curated list of resources to assist researchers in selecting suitable journals.
