Man shall not live by ChatGPT alone
What AI tools do you know? How many of them do you actually use? Everyone has heard about ChatGPT, but there are plenty of other resources out there, and they can do a lot to make the life of an author easier.
We are doing our best to popularize AI tools by inviting experts to talk about their favorite resources. This week, Ivan Sterligov, the founding director of HSE Scientometrics Center, made an overview of tools that can be used to prepare a literature review. On our AI menu we had Semantic Scholar, Elicit, ChatPDF, Humata and Pdf.ai. Participants tried their hand at using these tools and shared their findings. The dessert was a discussion about the future of AI technology and its application in creating texts.
- “It was really interesting and thought-provoking to have an opportunity to compare different AI-based tools.”
- “The tools that were presented are quite useful and definitely must-have. We received detailed explanations of the functionality of the tools.”
- “It was great! A lot of new knowledge and hints about AI tools for searching and working on publications plus step-by-step explanations. I hope I will apply these tips.”
What’s next on our AI menu? A one-day course that you can attend in November. Register and join the course to learn more about AI tools for research writing.
The recording of the workshop is available on our channel. Be sure to subscribe to stay informed of new publications.
