AI tools for authors and writing instructors

The Academic Writing Center tries to stay at the cutting edge of writing pedagogy and to take part in discussing the newest developments in technology and teaching methodology.

This week, the AWC Director Svetlana Suchkova was invited to speak about AI tools for research writers at the webinar hosted by TESOL International Association of English teachers. Svetlana gave an overview of the most useful tools that assist in writing and presented some of them in a live demonstration. She also invited participants to reflect on opportunities and threats created by the emergence of AI tools as well as its implications for classroom practices.
