Crash course “Action Research Venture”
The AWC Director Svetlana Suchkova developed and ran a special course for the faculty of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS.
The crash course “Action Research Venture” was aimed at raising the publishing activity of the MISIS faculty.
During the course, participants learnt about the stages of the publication process and types of action research. By the end of the course, each participant had selected a research topic, formulated a research question, written a rationale, and practiced self-editing strategies.
This is what the participants say:
“The course was a powerful kick for me to start writing. Besides, now I'm motivated to try and go for Scopus or WoS, which I was really scared of before. That motivation is the most valuable takeaway for me.”
“I was fully engaged in terms of processing the information and now I definitely have the tools to actually conduct the research and clear understanding of the process, in all details. And this is super valuable for me.”
“Mesmerizing course, full of information! I would like to thank the trainer again for her effort and input.”
