Boosting your academic writing with AWC

We know that many of you are experienced authors and have published papers in international journals. Still, there is always room for improvement. How to boost your research writing skills and take them to the next level? 

The new Academic Writing Center course “Writing a Research Paper in English. Advanced level” that finished in April was designed by the trainer Natalia Smirnova specially for this purpose. The course syllabus helps researchers analyze academic writing conventions, spot and avoid common pitfalls, review their own strengths and weaknesses as writers, and plan their development. Moreover, participants practice using AI tools for text analysis, drafting, and editing, and create a corpus of texts in their discipline. 

This year’s participants appreciated that the course enabled them to address their writing challenges:
